I AM IN ME was initially established in 2016 as a limited company in Wandsworth, South London, with a mission to support young people aged 14–25 who were at risk of offending or had experience of the criminal justice system. Our work focused on personal development, employability, business start-up skills, and promoting social mobility. In March 2017, we transitioned to a Community Interest Company (CIC), allowing us to expand our reach and deliver tailored support to those most in need—including disengaged students, young offenders, ex-offenders, and those at risk of gang involvement. Recognising the growing demand for our services, we became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) in March 2023. Today, we continue to empower young people across South London through a range of interventions, including career workshops in secondary schools (ages 14–18), group programmes, and 1:1 mentoring for individuals referred by schools, probation services, and the NHS.
